Vintage, Reseen

On October 15th, my friend Sabrina Marshall and her partner Sofia Bernardin announced the launch of RESEE, a vintage and design “re-commerce” site out of Paris. Their e-store “fuses rare vintage and the best in second hand clothing with high fashion editorial style. Pieces are sourced from private collections and vintage stores, including the legendary Neila Paris”, where I thankfully had the pleasure of shooting Elettra Wiedemann‘s story before the store closed recently.

What I love about the site and its collection of vintage pieces is the way it’s curated. It’s a completely different, undeniably French way of looking at vintage and a far cry from my own personal mix and clash of prints and patterns. RESEE has a minimal, monochrome view on vintage. None of the pieces look dated or retro, not just because some of them are as fresh as last season’s, but also because, like me, Sabrina and Sofia try to reinvent the old and pre-owned for the modern world. Bravo ladies!
