It was supposed to rain on Saturday, but we got spared. With most of the ladies wearing white, the Veuve Cliquot Polo Classic Tournament would have turned into a wet t-shirt contest, rather than a polo match. And I’m pretty sure none of the polo players would’ve won. There was some strong competition on the side lines: Jessica Stam in her head to toe black and white Thom Browne skirt suit, Dree Hemingway in a white vintage-inspired Dolce & Gabbana gown, Kelly Framel in her little cotton updo and myself, in a clingy, white Roberto Cavalli dress. But as the day went on, the only thing that rained was the champagne. And in abundance. By the time the match was finished – Nacho’s team won! – the fancy VIP lounge had turned into a genuine party. We left before the photographers got the best of us!
