It’s kind of ironic that I should style Hue’s FW15 look book. I may have mentioned in the past that I am affably against models wearing black leggings for castings. I would always look at them and think: Isn’t there anything more exciting you can wear? Something unique that proves you have in fact a mind of your own? Something that may evoke a positive comment, and make you stand out in the sea of girls? Anyways, I had agreed to the job thinking this was about socks and tights, but to my surprise, Hue’s biggest asset is their leggings! I’m not going to lie, I was a little bit afraid after that. How am I supposed to style something that I never wear myself? But what I came to discover is that Hue’s leggings are anything but boring. They’re really more like cropped pants, and have practically the same shape as the jeans I wear daily, rips and all. They come in so many different colors and fabrics it’s almost impossible not to find your pick, like the grey knit flares, or the graphic black and white ones. So guess what: I am converted!! Dear models, it is now OK to wear leggings to my castings, as long as they are Hue.
