Skates & Stripes

Remember that awesome vintage color block sweater? It was a favorite on the street style blogs during SS2010 shows in Paris. I bought it a few weeks earlier at Marmalade Vintage and it has been one of my coolest vintage purchases to date. I love the slouch, the unusual color combination and the silk knit.

Back then I wore the sweater with a purple Phillip Lim skirt and Prada yellow heels. This time I went skate! The rasta Path cap is a remnant of my skateboard days – yes sweet people, I used to be a skater chick, with a skater boyfriend, a Buzinits deck, Emerica shoes and a whole lot of bruises.

The silk striped shirt is Miu Miu. It’s at least 5 years old but I can never get tired of it – so cute.

I don’t remember where I got the vintage striped shorts. They’re very comfortable with deep pocket and loose fit.

I bought the espadrilles last summer in Ibiza. They’re super cheap there and available in every color and pattern imaginable.

That fire hydrant run is highly recommendable BTW.
