A couple of weeks ago I traveled to Paris to dive into the Chloe archives. Chloe is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year and have been very busy and creative to commemorate the big bash. It started off with a beautiful exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris; Barneys organized a party and a dinner in New York; and there have been several special editorials and features in magazines, each focusing on different aspects of the history of the brand. When Tales of Endearment knocked on the door they invited me to curate eighteen looks from their archives. I mixed and matched all the seasons and decades to show that the Chloe woman really has not changed; whether she was alive in the 60s or in 2013, the essence of the Chloe woman remains the same. She’s soft, feminine and elegant but there’s an edge. We held a big open casting and found eighteen girls who all embody her spirit. More about that in a few weeks when our project comes to life on these pages!
In the meantime I did a little digging for myself in the PR closet and put together something colorful for the summer….
