It’s been cold and wet and nasty in London. Not that I planned rain for this outfit but it was kind of fitting – absolutely fitting in fact that it should pour just as I decided to wrap myself in plastic. Though a bit springy and light, the 60s plastic poncho kept me warm, dry, and perhaps a even a bit less mortified. Emma and I darted through St Johns Wood until we found this incredibly depressing building. It was like a vertical concrete landscape with puddles of despair and hushes of eery despondency.
I don’t remember when and where I got the dress – I don’t think I’ve ever worn it but just now it reminds me of the Louis Vuitton spring collection. I love the white embroidered organza with tiny rhinestones strewn across, the silk covered buttons, the Peter Pan collar and the overall gentleness of this dress. And it looks cute with the Miu Miu booties. You see, a sparkle is all I need to get through winter…
