On my last day in Los Angeles I danced on the edge of Hollywood sign – what else? We drove up as high up as we could and climbed a steep dusty dirt road – in heels! – until we were in the perfect panoramic spot. The sun was setting but the temperature seemed to rise and rise. The hills are muy caliente…
The PR ladies in Hollywood are marvelous creatures. They found out I was in town and hurried to bestow me with presents and fashionable local introductions. I competed in a spelling bee for god’s sake! I pee’d my pants – pardon my french – but I came in second. Not bad for a foreigner.
Jessica Trent introduced me to Moonspoon Saloon, a design collective from Copenhagen who recently relocated their headquarters to Los Angeles. They provided this amazing pastel color block oversized knit sweater which singlehandedly inspired this week’s Look. Moonspoon Saloon recently did a collaboration with Buffalo Shoes I’m absolutely going bonkers over. Can’t wait to get my hands on a pair!
And thank you Linlee Allen for the super cool St Kilda Man Ray lip cuffs! I wore 4 out of the 7 colors they will be producing. Stay tuned!
Rainbows, sunsets and lips go hand in hand with flares and aviators as far as I’m concerned. I’ve been wearing my Adam peach color jeans all summer. And my Oliver Peoples travel with me everywhere. The straw bag is vintage. The shoes are old Cacharel wedges, as previously seen. And I can always depend on my gold hoops for a sexy little twist…
And cheers Hot Chelle Rae for the lyrical inspiration.
