Look of the Week: Ode to Celine

I promise this is the last time I post my Celine shoes. I admit I am a little bit obsessed with these shoes, and they inspired the theme for this week’s Look of the Week. So cross my heart.

The blouse has very special meaning to me. My grandmother got it for me a very long time ago and she would be very proud if she saw these pictures. I love the colorful little bee print and airy cotton. It’s chic but in a playful way, which I suppose could still be considered the going influence at Celine, albeit a bit more “Philofied”.

The 70’s peach Celine denim skirt is a recent purchase from No. 6 Store on Center Market Place. From the color, to the buttons, to the embroidered logo on the stitched pocket, to the 70’s A-line shape, this skirt screams sophistication, but again, in a playful way.

The Celine box bag was an instant classic. I love the citron and lagoon color that’s out now, but I’m really into pastels, so this baby blue matched perfectly with my mood and outfit.

I’ve always had a thing for head scarves. I opted for a pink bandana to compliment the rest of the color scheme. And it gives the whole look that kind of 1970’s St Tropez vibe, especially with those Celine wayfarer sunglasses. I can picture myself strolling on the promenade with Alain Delon in a thin black suit and those same glasses. If only…
