Look of the Week: All that glitters is Gold

I’m over heels… (Gasp! Did I just say that??) Yep. I need to give my poor feet a rest. So until I start feeling fabulous again, I will be wearing flats and these gold Aldo “killion” slippers are my go-to pair for the next couple of weeks. They are the most comfortable pair of flats I ever owned. And the cheapest! I’ve not had one blister since I started wearing them. Aldo sells them in a cow, black and leopard pony, a black patent and a gold and black sparkle leather. I’m definitely picking up another pair to get me through the winter!

The outfit started with the shoes and ended with my Oliver Peoples aviators. I put on a pair of old, cropped Balenciaga pants and black leather Dries Van Noten belt I bought together a few years ago at a consignment store in Antwerp, and a lurex vintage sweater I bought at Grayson Riley two weeks ago. I figured the tropical print was my personal homage to one of SS12’s runways hits. Grayson Riley is a small vintage store inside the Artists and Fleas market in Williamsburg. God, that place is dangerous! I buy something every time I go! I took my Marni clutch and finished off the look with my black Repossi ring.

This Week’s Look was shot by none other than Street Peeper, Phil Oh, one of my own, personal favorite street style photographers!
