We’ll call her Charlotte

Marianna and I drove up to her friend Ambika Conroy’s farm and B&B Outliner Inn in Woodbridge, NY. It’s a beautiful drive to a even more beautiful place, with fancy, speckled chickens who sit on your lap, four-days old baby goats, tangled mohair sheep and the fluffiest angora rabbits you’ve ever seen. From here it was only a short leap into a different world and time. It took some wigs, a truck load of vintage and just a few Chanel jackets. Of course.

We shot the film over two days. It shows my seven characters all “meet” and interact in a bit of a dramatic setting with a mysterious narrative. We’ll call today’s lady Charlotte….

Yellow tweet jacket by Chanel; Vintage yellow polka dot silk dress at No. 6 Store; My grandma’s triple tear pearl necklace; My vintage pink suede purse from Speakeasy Vintage in New Jersey; Vintage yellow gloves at No. 6 Store; purple suede pumps by Casadei.

If you know Anne Saphier who graduated from Hewlett High in 1959, PLEASE have her contact me. Have been trying to find her since graduation, and now we’re planning a 55th reunion.
