The Ritz Hotel in Paris will be closing its doors for the next 2,5 years for renovations. According to sources it’s because the hotel did not win France’s coveted “Palace” designation honor in early 2011, which came as a big surprise because the hotel is considered one of the world’s most luxurious, splendid and historically relevant hotels in the world and a place many fashion people feel very fondly about. So to say goodbye, Anya Ziourova and I decided to do a pajama/robe party in her room. We got champagne and snacks, invited our favorite girls and had bunch of robes sent up to the room. Emily Weiss (Into The Gloss) brought make-up goodies provided by Nars, Mac and Aesop. Sadly we didn’t get to keep the robes but we’ll be back to get the updated, more fluffy, more plush and softer  ones in 2 years…. Au revoir Ritz, au revoir Paris!
