Isabel Musidora got an extra spread in my book, because, well, have you seen her? Her look is so singular and so strong she raises eye brows and turns heads everywhere she goes. It’s kids like Isabel that blow my mind. At 17-years old but she knows exactly what she wants. She doesn’t care if people talk or stare; this is who she is, unapologetically and exemplary. Since our shoot in Santa Barbara Isabel has updated her style to something more androgynous, perhaps to mirror the revolutionary gender-bending roles of the 1920s that are now oh-so relevant and current, but she’s still the self-confident, creative soul I met two years ago. A real vintage girl; a true gem.
