After a few nail-biting months of dealing with hackers, we are finally up and running again – damn you hackers!! And I can, at long last and with a sigh of great relief, share the news from my friends at L.K.Bennett in London: they’ve just launched Athleisure, “a capsule off-duty collection designed to be the ultimate in relaxed style and comfort”. It needs very little qualitative explanation considering they’re nearly sold out, worldwide. It’s just that good. Women love the seamless finishes and waist bands – no muffin tops here, ladies! L.K.B. calls it “sport-lux”, inspired by the career moms trend of carrying your work-out clothes into your daily lounge and shopping routines. I mean, who doesn’t want to do a few cart wheels at work now and again…? I think the Beastie Boys said it best: Let your back bone flip but don’t slip a disc.
