Last summer photographer Martien Mulder and I decided to shoot a video inspired by vintage denim. Martien is somewhat of a vintage quilts collector and like me loves everything old and romantic. Remember the beautiful feature we shot together for Nowness at Brimfield in Massachussetts? And so we trekked to Prospect Park with two models, a suitcase full of jeans from What Goes Around Comes Around and a small photo team. The result is this charming little video. And if you’re wondering why it took so long to post it, it’s because Martien and her girlfriend have since the shoot become the proud parents of a baby girl, Jagger, who absorbed all her time and attention.
