The first time I heard of Lisa Perry was at Claire Distenfeld’s house, when I shot this cool, 60s-inspired, red trapeze top. I found out Lisa Perry is sold at Barneys but it wasn’t until I was invited to her penthouse apartment a few months ago, for the Lichtenstein party, that I understood the dynamic of her collection. To say she’s crazy about the 60s and pop art is an understatement. Her home, as you will see in Wednesday’s post, is full of it, like a bonafide museum, printed catalog included. Her closet is even better; it’s where all the Courreges and Pierre Cardin comes to flourish. I’d never seen anything like it.
I love the spirit of Lisa Perry’s clothes. The colors, the cuts, the cuteness and whim; it’s all very Joosy!
